At the heart of Elora Beauty Group are two people who believe success means more when it’s shared — and that laughter, compassion, and a little chaos can build something truly beautiful.
Terry Shannon has spent over 40 years in the professional hair care industry — and if you ask anyone who’s worked with him, they’ll tell you he’s seen it all and had a laugh doing it. From salon consulting to managing major brands, Terry has built a reputation on real relationships, a knack for business, and the ability to make any meeting better with good coffee and great music.
Born and raised in Vancouver, he grew up surrounded by nature and guided by his parents’ strong sense of humor and humanity. That early influence shaped how he does business today —with heart, humility, and a genuine belief that success only matters if it lifts others along the way.
Lisa Shannon brings the calm, the care, and the structure that makes everything around her better. A registered nurse and medical administrator, she’s spent her life caring for others — patients, parents, family, and friends. Her peaceful and reflective nature shines through in
everything she does, whether she’s hiking a quiet trail, exploring new places, or finding beauty in everyday moments.
Her strength and empathy were never more evident than when she became the primary caregiver for both her parents during their battles with cancer — a chapter that showed the depth of her grace, resilience, and love. Those same qualities are what shape her approach to life and leadership today.
Together, Terry and Lisa share the same grounded values, humor, and dedication to making a difference — both in business and beyond. Whether spending time with family at the cottage, sharing stories with friends, or helping someone find their footing, they believe life is better when we lift each other up.
